Storage Management Fundamentals
This course is an introduction to the system-managed Data Facility Storage Management Subsystem (DFSMS) environment, where the data set life cycle is managed by pre-defined policy according to service level agreement requirements. It describes the components of DFSMS architecture. At a general level, it teaches the policy structure and how to create it using Interactive Storage Management Facility (ISMF).
