On January 27, 2023, under the watchful eye of Effective IT Trainings representatives and Marcin Szybkowski, during the Royal Garden business simulation demo - Warsaw “built” the Versailles Garden!
The simulation storyline transported everyone to Versailles, to the court of King Louis XIV. The group of brave participants was divided into teams building the solution and a management team, and implemented the project according to Agile PM.
Workshop participants were people who work daily in positions such as: operations director, project managers, Head of BizDev & Communications, IT manager, technical leader, operations specialist, producer, sales team members. However, during the demo they took on roles including florist, water manager, etc. They ensured symmetry was maintained, and that there were enough properly trimmed plants, arranged pathways covered with colorful gravel, beautiful flower carpets, and many fountains spraying water in majestic compositions.
In the meeting summary, we heard many positive opinions. There were expressions of admiration for the form of work and play, the way of facilitation, and the sense of humor. Participants observed how quickly the team began to communicate and cooperate, and how order emerged from chaos. There was also an opinion highlighting the moment of enlightenment and understanding of what to do in the project.
We thank all participants for such tremendous engagement and the opportunity to observe the emotions accompanying the construction of the most beautiful garden the world has ever seen.
