ITIL® 5 Foundation — training with certification exam
ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) training with PeopleCert certification exam. The latest version of the digital product and service management framework.
Why ITIL 5 Foundation?
ITIL® (Version 5), released in February 2026, is the latest version of the globally recognized IT service management framework. The key change: ITIL is no longer solely about IT Service Management — it now encompasses Digital Product and Service Management (DPSM), combining digital product and service management into a single, cohesive framework.
The PeopleCert certification exam is included in the training price. Upon passing the exam, participants receive the ITIL Foundation (Version 5) certificate — a globally recognized standard of competency in digital product and service management.
What’s new in ITIL 5 vs ITIL 4?
ITIL 5 is an evolution, not a revolution — 40% of content has been retained from ITIL 4, 36% is entirely new material, and 24% has been updated.
Key changes:
- Digital Product & Service Management — expanded scope from ITSM to digital product and service management
- 8-stage Product & Service Lifecycle Model (PSLM) — Discover, Design, Develop, Deploy, Deliver, Support, Optimize, Retire (replacing the 6-stage ITIL 4 model)
- AI governance and ethics — built into the framework, not as an add-on
- Experience management — UX, CX, and Digital Experience as a central element
- Simplified structure — 34 management practices still exist, but Foundation focuses on key concepts rather than detailed coverage of each practice
