- Definition and classification of bullying — 45 characteristics of bullying behavior according to Heinz Leymann, phases of bullying, consequences for the victim and organization
- Bullying vs conflict vs management — how to distinguish bullying from a difficult management style and natural team conflicts
- Legal aspects — Labor Code (Polish), employer liability, burden of proof, case law
- Direct and indirect discrimination — grounds for discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, equal treatment principle
- Unconscious bias — how it affects recruitment, promotion and employee evaluation decisions
- Exercises: case analysis — classifying behaviors (bullying/conflict/management), identifying unconscious biases
Day 2: Prevention, mediation and building organizational culture
- Responding to undesirable behaviors — reporting procedure, role of the witness, protection of the reporting person
- Mediation and dispute resolution techniques — stages of mediation, role of the mediator, boundaries of mediation in cases of bullying
- Communication in crisis situations — assertive refusal, setting boundaries, I-Message in the context of undesirable behaviors
- Building and implementing an anti-bullying policy — document structure, procedures, anti-bullying committee, sanctions
- Organizational code of ethics — values, behavioral standards, value system as a foundation for preventing bullying
- Exercises: developing elements of an anti-bullying policy, mediation simulation, implementation plan for the organization
