z/OS 3.1 Update
This course introduces students to the new features and enhancements in z/OS Version 3 Release 1. Topics include AI integration (AI Framework for z/OS, intelligent WLM), quantum-safe cryptography, zCX containers with OpenShift support, RACF enhancements, USS improvements, communications server updates, and z/OSMF. DevOps capabilities (Git, Ansible) and EzNoSQL are also covered.
Prerequisites
- z/OS knowledge at the system programmer or administrator level, gained through work experience or z/OS curriculum
- Familiarity with z/OS V2R5 or later features. Participants with knowledge based on earlier z/OS versions should first review intermediate updates

- Upgrade from z/OS 2.2 (which upgrades the skill level to z/OS V2R2)
